- Hanwha Semiconductor was initiated in 2017 by the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Centre and Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) as the cornerstone investor, together with the founding team, and is the first forward-looking and disruptive major project supported by China's innovative "allocation and investment" approach.
- At present, in the core area of Suzhou Industrial Park has built about 20,000 square metres of plant, the annual capacity of about 300,000 pieces of 4/6/8-inch compatible high-end gallium nitride materials production line, and 8-inch 3DIC Hybrid Bonding chip production line, is a high-end semiconductor closed-loop R & D and large-scale production base of the world's leading level, but also the largest capacity of independent gallium nitride production line in the country has been built. It is also the independent gallium nitride epitaxial supplier with the largest production capacity in China.
- Hanwa has applied for about 100 patents at home and abroad, and more than 40 patents have been approved. Since its establishment, Hanwa has been awarded the national speciality, speciality and new small giants, Jiangsu Province double innovation team, Gusu major innovation team, Suzhou Industrial Park major leaders and other awards.
